Lunch at Muscat Street

After a quick tour of The Old Toys Museum on adjacent Bussorah St, we hopped over here for a coffee break.

I think it was called 'Minang' or something like that, this coffee shop 'restaurant'.

Or could be that 'restaurant Minang' was located upstairs while it was just 'coffee shop' downstairs.

Anyway, Freddie and TingFook swore by the coffee. Correct swears, the coffee WAS good.

See?

The coffees' all gone, but the kopi-ohs' untouched!

No, lah. The kopi-ohs came first.

OK! Here's a shot of TF (rare animal seldom caught on camera) and Freddie.

These two have still got their full heads of hair.

While this one's bagged all the drinks!

The rare animal in his usual pose, one hand with phone to ear and another in pocket for ciggy.

CK on the ready with his digicam.

Phtos taken?

Shall we get at the drinks?

Oh, ho, ho, ho!

Cheers!

Then, someone suggested Why not have lunch now?

Too early lah!

OK, brunch, then?

ON!

One fork short!
'ey, what you call a fork in Malay, huh?

Suduk!

No lah, that's spoon.

Zap a few minutes later, and brunch was done.

The smokers have gone 5 metres away.

Where this shot was taken.

And there's our table two zaps after we left it.
