Geylang English School
Here we are (above) on Lorong 23 (Geylang Road end) looking into the school, specifically, at the Primary 1 classrooms.
Can you remember which classroom belongs to Mrs Heng and which one to Mrs ??? (the foxy one who calls Guru Howe "Howie"?
The old school has been leased to a charitable organisation which operates this car cleaning business on part of the grounds.
First photo in GES after 45 years (above).
Left to right : Freddie, Choy Chin, Chee Kiang, Hoi Ying and Yew San.
Above : What are they taken aback by?
Above : Just this - part of the sports field which is part of an outdoor cafe of sorts.
The old toilet block is on the right, and the Malay boys' school is the one with the red roof.
Above and below : The grass patch is the site of the old Long Jump sand pit. Do you remember that ?

I was a student at GES from 1966 to 1970. One day while playing at the sandy field, we found world war II bullets presumably buried by japanese soldier. Anybody remembers this incident?
