Bike Ride-4 - Still, it was fun.

Yes, it was still a fun and enjoyable 6-hour Bike Ride. The weather was kind - cloudy bright without a strong sun; and a brief light shower along Loyang Avenue. HoiYing needn't have worried so about not bringing a cap. And none of the park kiosks sell caps.

There are pluses in doing the Circuit clockwise. You'll reach food centres very much sooner for morning tea. The Bedok Road Food Centre (at the bend in Bedok Road) and the Tampines Circular Market and Food Centre (at Tampines Street 11) are arrived at much sooner than Changi Village Food Centre when doing the Circuit in an anti-clockwise direction.

Clockwise route also gets the subway and overhead bridges out of the way early in the Ride while you are still fresh and strong. And the easy flat parkland stretch away from roads with traffic ie from Changi Beach Park to ECP is your homestretch, when you're tiring.

The subway at Area 'G' in East Coast Park, by the way, is 'easier' too! Three flights down and two flights up. Much easier than when going in the opposite direction.

Thanks to NParks for building the PCN.
